I love my new Vornado heater, which saved me a lot of money on my heating bills. The automatic thermostat is a wonderful feature.

Easy to use controls. Even heating. The remote is a rock star. The timer also saves energy. I would definitely recommend this to people who want to warm up the room they are in.

The Vortex heater is excellent. With the heater, I'm able to keep my home temperature low; I use the heater in a small room during the evening hours while reading or watching TV. It saves me money, it provides even heat and I'm comfortable all evening long. I can't ask for more than that.

I have three Vornado fans that are in constant use all spring, summer and fall. I knew the quality of the heater would be excellent.

I couldn't be happier with the Vornado heater. I'm planning on buying another fan and it will be from Vornado because the product can't be beat!!!

I purchased this Vornado heater to use in my bedroom at night, so that the room wouldn't get too cold during the cold Pennsylvania winters. I intended to set the built-in thermometer at 60 degrees, so I was disappointed to find out that the thermometer has a minimum setting of 65 degrees. Otherwise, I am pleased with the heater as it operates quietly and efficiently.

The first product received did not work. It was returned and replaced in a very timely and prompt manner. The replacement works as advertised.

Does What It's Supposed To But It's LOUD

This is a great heater. My electric bill went down $30 after a full month of using this heater instead of my old one. I have been cozy and warm so all is good. The only complaint that I have is the noise, the fan is extremely loud. The lights in the adjustment panel are also very bright, I have not been able to get the dimmer working and even when I cover the top of the heater at night the lights still shine through the grille.

It works well, better when it is not that cold out. However, it does not heat as much as it should in a really cold room.

Very Good Space Heater

This is very good in many aspects (heats quickly, auto on/off, high and low fan speeds to control energy consumption) and overall, I am pleased. Two improvements would be to have the "beeps" be lower or have the option to turn off - too loud if a child is sleeping. Second would be to have it have a dimmer or low light level - it is very bright in a dark room.

This heater has done everything that I need it to do. It's efficient and quiet while it effectively heats my large home office (which is located over an unheated garage).

This is an excellent room heater. The heat fills the room just as advertised and the settings can go up to nine hours!! The only drawback is that the remote control is at the same frequency as our volume control on our Sony television in the room. As a result, if we lower the volume on the TV -- say when one of those loud annoying ads are on the television -- the target temperature of the heater changes. I returned our first heater and was promptly sent a replacement, but the story was the same. So this is a system problem that simply needs to be corrected. Despite that irritation, the heater is great.

The heater works good, but does not heat the size room the manufacturer says it will. I was not impressed.

Pros: It heats up a room very well, not loud.

Cons: The TV remote control conflicts with heater, the temp gauge not accurate (probably due to the location of the thermostat), there is the occasional automatic shutdown and a continous beeping sound.

Not Worth It

Fan speed did not work since day one and the thermostat went out on the unit. For the price I paid, definitely not worth it.
