The Whirlpool AD50USS2 Energy Star 50 Pint Dehumidifier is a must needed addition to your home if you suffer from high humidity during the summer months. The AD50USS2 is the newer model and for me runs very quit compared to other models I have used. It is a good idea to put some foam padding under the dehumidifier to make it even quieter.

This unit pull more than 50 pints from a very humid environment in a 24 hour period. What is also a nice feature is that you can attach a hose to the unit so it drains into an existing floor drain. The unit has several optional setting so you can have it do precisely what you need. It has a 15 pint reservoir which I have emptied 4-5 times in a 24 hour period when it is really humid. Finally, I bought a hose and have it go directly to my drain. What is also nice is that this unit is Energy Star compliant. You will save $10- $15 per month during the summer when you are using the dehumidifier more often. Overall, I am very satisfied with my Whirlpool AD50USS2 dehumidifier.
