Vicks V3900 Germ Free Cool Mist Humidifier

This 1-gallon evaporative humidifier disperses a cool invisible mist of moisture to cover up to 700 square feet of space. Before releasing the humidified air, the system uses patented ultraviolet sanitizing technology to kill up to 99.9% of waterborne germs, viruses, bacteria, and mold. As a result, you breathe only clean, pure, and healthful moisture.

This Vicks humidifier is the first Germ-Free humidifier designed to be used with Vicks Scent Pads. The humidifier includes an integrated scent pad heater. As an option, you can use Vicks VSP-19 VapoPads or Sleepy Time VBR-5 VapoPads inside the heater for vapor therapy.

UV Germ-Killing Process

The Vicks V3900 UV humidifier kills waterbred germs using a two-step process. During the first step, a germicidal UV light bulb shines on the water as it passes from the cold water reservoir to the hot water reservoir through a special glass chamber. Next, water moves into the stainless steel hot water reservoir where it is boiled for sterilization. Cool, invisible mist is then distributed throughout your space.

Easy Controls, Easy Operation

The V3900 evaporative humidifier features easy-to-use manual controls for simple and hassle-free operation. Use the manual control knob to increase or decrease the humidity output by choosing one of three fan speeds. Alternatively, the automatic moisture balance system will naturally adjust the moisture output for maximum comfort. In addition, the V3900's 1-gallon, translucent reservoir tank ensures a long running time of up to 24 hours before the next refill.

Designed for Allergy- and Asthma-Sufferers

As an added benefit, this Vicks room humidifier does not emit any symptom-aggravating white dust during operation. This makes it safe for use by allergy- and asthma-sufferers. In many off-the-shelf humidifiers, dust particles can form when mineral matter from the water is released into the air during humidification. Regular exposure to this airborne dust can aggravate existing allergy and asthma symptoms and even trigger serious respiratory conditions. The Vicks V3900 Cool Mist Humidifier eliminates white dust by pulling out mineral deposits during the boiling process. This process prevents the minerals from being released.
