Two-Step Sanitizing Process
The Vicks V790 Germ Free Humidifier eliminates water-bred microorganisms using a two-step process. During the first step, a germ-zapping UV bulb shines on the water as it passes from the cold water reservoir to the hot water reservoir through a special glass chamber. Next, water moves into the stainless steel hot water reservoir where it is sterilized even more through boiling action. Warm, invisible mist is then distributed throughout your space.

As an added benefit, this Vicks UV humidifier does not emit any symptom-aggravating white dust during operation. This makes the filter-free V790 safe for use by allergy- and asthma-sufferers.
