Live in an older home in Fla. Bought this tower 184 in lieu of paying electrician to wire room for a ceiling fan and pay to buy and install ceiling fan. Thought I might end up returning this, but within the first 2 hrs I started turning the thermostat up because the room was noticeably cooler. Now have tower on lowest setting, very quiet (it's in my tv room) and the whole room is cool with AC set on 80!!

Works as advertised, definitely helps circulate cool air and is very quiet except on the highest setting. Will not help much in extremely humid weather, but only an a/c will do for that. Very light to move from room to room, and sleek design.
