It's decent at keeping the Relative Humidity at 40% in a space about 600 sq. feet, but while on the high mode. It never shuts off, because it's working overtime, all the time.
Picking up and moving the unit is hard, because the frame is flimsy, especially with the tank removed.
Has low output since it's on ALL the time.
My next purchase will be a whole house humidifier to do the job.
Tried to return the unit to Sylvane to swap it out, but it was after the 30 day window.
Vornado, though, has stellar Consumer Service

First of all, the number (HU1-0029-06R) appears nowhere on this product, nor on the instruction manual. We had to look at the ads to find out what product we had. Second, the cleaning instructions must be meant for a different (or larger) Vornado, as they don't apply to this one. That said, the model is easy to use, quiet, efficient. We've only had it one year, and I notice that our old Vornadoes had a very short life span. So we'll see if this one can make it through another year. We do change the filters regularly.
