This humidifier has definately helped. It is located in our living room, but probably would be more efficient in a smaller room. It raised our humidity level by 15%. Is a little loud on high which is what it needs to stay on to keep humidity up, but has a nice quieter 'white noise' effect on medium. Have tried many humidifiers and so far like this on the best. Dust accumulates on fan motor, but when I clean it I just take it outside to garage and blow it off with air compressor. Cleans it right up.

Owned this model for a year and the fan stopped working. Unfortunately, I forgot that it came with a 5 year warranty until after my husband had taken it apart - oops! So now onto number 2.

Does a great job of humidifying my 900 sq ft apartment and is pretty quiet.
