Vornado has been one of the most trusted brands in air comfort for more than 50 years. Their products use innovative air circulating technology which allows air to easily circulate throughout a room. This technology moves the air in a vortex, tornado-like action, providing a wide area of distribution as opposed to only blowing directly ahead. The Vornado signature vortex action is the result of four proprietary components found only within Vornado technology. Initially applied to air circulators and heaters, Vortex Action allowed for Vornado products to affect not just the air around the unit like traditional fans and heaters, but to evenly distribute all of the air throughout an entire room.

Since 1989, the Vornado line has expanded to encompass more than 25 models across five distinct comfort categories including air circulators, air purifiers, whole room heaters, whole room humidifiers and oscillating fans. Design and engineering, as well as some manufacturing functions, are performed in-house at Vornado’s 120,000 square-foot headquarters in Andover, Kansas.
