Sometimes, heating your personal space is all you need to do to stay warm and comfortable all day long. The Vornado VH101 Personal Vortex Heater was made for these situations. This personal space heater concentrates heat to your immediate environment, surrounding you with personalized warmth and comfort at home or in the office. Measuring 7.5 in. or less in any direction, the VH101 heater fits perfectly on your desktop, tabletop, or countertop. You can also position it under your desk or in front of your favorite chair.

Signature Vortex Technology

This Vornado heater uses the same patented Vortex airflow system that is used in Vornado's popular whole room heaters. Deep pitch fan blades and a specialized AirTensity grille work in unison to circulate and re-circulate heated air until it blankets every corner of your personal space. This heating process ensures that you experience even and efficient warmth throughout your area.

Two Heating Speeds

The VH101 heater – also known as Vornado Model #EH1-0050-06 – offers you a choice of two heating speeds. On its lowest speed, the unit produces 375 watts of heat for all-day, sustained warmth. On its highest speed, the personal heater cranks out 750 watts of heat for a fast warm-up. During operation, you can toggle between each speed to find your ideal heating output. These settings also give you extra control over your energy usage.

Safety Features

The VH101 Vornado Vortex Heater is equipped with a variety of safety features that help ensure safe, smooth operation. First, the unit incorporates heat overload protection. This system automatically shuts off the unit if airflow becomes blocked in order to prevent overheating. Next, a tip-over protection system will cut power to the heating element should the unit be tipped over. In addition to the two automatic shutoff systems, the VH101 heater boasts a cool-to-the-touch outer cabinet and tight grille spirals that resist curious fingers.
