The Whirlpool Whispure 510 Air Purifier—also known as the Whirlpool AP51030K and the Whirlpool AP51030S— recently topped the list of 20 portable air purifiers evaluated by a leading consumer reporting agency. The Whirlpool AP51030K received a score of Excellent for dust, pollen, and smoke removal when operating on the highest setting and a score of Very Good on the lowest setting. A slightly larger version of the historically top-ranked Whirlpool Whispure 450, the Whispure 510 features HEPA filtration, a soft-touch control panel, a turbo fan speed, and a sleep mode for quiet, energy-efficient operation while you rest. Maximum Air Filtration

The Whirlpool AP51030K features a three-stage filtration system comprised of a pre-filter, carbon filter, and true HEPA filter. The outside grill of the air purifier acts as a permanent pre-filter by capturing large particles and preventing them from entering the unit. Large particles that find their way inside the unit are promptly caught by the carbon filter, which also works to eliminate unwanted odors and protect the life of the HEPA filter.

At the heart of the Whirlpool Whispure 510 is true HEPA filtration. HEPA filters provide maximum filtration of your room’s air by removing up to 99.97% of particles that are 0.3 microns and larger. These particles include pet dander, dust mites, pollen, and other microscopic irritants that can damage your indoor air quality and aggravate allergy and asthma symptoms.

Four Powerful Fan Speeds

The Whispure 510 comes with four fan speed settings, allowing you to choose your ideal performance-to-sound ratio. For example, select a lower setting for quiet times, such as sleep, or the Turbo fan setting for maximum performance during pollen season.

Integrated Control Panel

This Whirlpool air purifier not only provides high-efficiency performance, it also features an easy-to-use control panel. The soft-touch controls allow you to control all of the Whispure 510’s settings with just the touch of a button. Using the control panel, you can easily toggle between fan speeds, lock your settings, view the remaining life of your carbon and HEPA filters, and activate the Sleep mode.

When turned on, the Sleep mode function immediately switches your air purifier’s fan to the lowest, quietest speed. After eight hours, your Whispure 510 will automatically return to the original fan speed. This function allows you to quietly and efficiently maintain your room’s clean air during sleep hours.
