This is a very good unit that I would recommend for anyone who lives in south Texas and has to fight the humidity. Keeps the humidity level below 50% and yeps keep the whole house cooler.

I use this product in my 2000 square foot boarding kennels. Dogs (about 40 of them)put a lot of humidity in the air when they pant. It removes about 5 gallons of water in a 24 hr period. It keeps the humidity in check without issue. The only issue I had was a missing screw that allowed a bracket to move during shipping. A safety switch was not depressed enough to let the unit run. Once that was fixed it worked well. One last note, if you want to install a remote control, buy it here. You won't find one at a hardware or big box store.

I purchased the Williams Air Sponge to use in a drying room. Out of all the units I shopped around for this one had the highest water removal capacity and was also the lowest priced.

You can't find anything comparable to this unit in this price range.

Installation was easy especially in our case as we are running it separate from the heat source directly ducted in and out of the room. There is very little to hook up as it is all self contained in the unit. Another great feature of this unite is the condensate pump. Most other higher priced units do not have one and it can be a hundred dollars or so to add one plus the time to hook it up.

Shipping from Sylvane was fast. Too fast. I didn't even know it was on it's way. the day after I ordered it it arrived via UPS freight and I had left the business early so I was not there to receive it. My only complaint in the whole purchase is with UPS freight. Since I wasn't there to receive they called and I scheduled the next day to have it delivered. UPS did not show up the next day and claimed I never called them to schedule. The next day they brought it after I rearranged my whole schedule for them. Two weeks later UPS sends me a bill for a redelivery charge! Bogus!

I would buy again from Sylvane but I wouldn't let them use UPS freight for shipping ever!
