I would not have bought this myself but received it last year for Christmas. Now I don't know how I would get along without it. I am able to breathe easier {COPD}. I even bought new filters which is normally out of my price range, but I felt it was worth it.

The light finally went off on my Winix 5000B meaning that a year has passed since I have changed my HEPA filter. This filter was identical to the one that came out, except much cleaner. This arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed.

If you have the 5000b like me don't forget to press and hold the filter reset button for 3-5 seconds after you change the filter. A short beep will be heard and the light should turn off.

The filter set comes with 4 carbon odor filters for changing every three months which will keep things in my room smelling nice and clean.

This Winix is a great filter. We've used it for a year and it works well. Runs pretty quietly, except when it kicks into high gear but that usually doesn't last too long.

We ordered these replacement filters from Sylvane - they had the best prices around and delivered very promptly.

This is a pretty nice filter. It is a good hepa filter with 4 carbon pre filters. This particular product does not have a nano mesh filter or a pre filter screen. There is one with those available for the 5300 but it is more expensive. This one is sufficient for me right now. Sylvane did a good job, fast shipping and the best price I could find on this product. I bought 4, I was hoping to find some place that offered a bulk discount, but to no avail. I would have bought more if necessary, I have a 5300, my gf does, my grandma does and others are interested. It\s a good machine for the money.
