We have three units in house to control for allergens, in replaceing these filter yearly it isn't inexpensive but they work well.

I use this filter set in my Winix Model 9000 air cleaner in my bedroom. It's very effective & collects a lot of dust, so I have to remember to vacuum it every so often. The original filter lasted one year. I only wish the Winix model 9000 air cleaner had UV to kill bacteria. It's amazing how much dust is in your household air. I buy the most expensive filter for my central air unit also. I would like to add an additional air cleaner to the living room/kitchen area. I live in a small apt. so one more would be all that I need. This unit installs easily with no tools needed in about two minutes. While the cover is off, don't forget to push the filter reset button so that the change filter light will go out. I did not know this at first. A little expensive for my budget, but you do get a new charcoal filter & a new Prefilter as well as the Hepa filter all mounted in a new frame & ready to pop in! Fortunately, it's a long life filter. Mine lasted about exactly one year before the filter light came on. All & all a good product to help with the battle to maintain clean air. There are cheaper products out there, but if it's not effective it's a waste of money. The Winix 9000 works & this filter is well designed, easy to install & I really like the light that illuminates when it's time to change the filter. This web site is well designed & I found it very easy to locate the product that I needed & place my order online. I received a prompt email from the seller once I placed the order. I see a lot of other good products on their website that I would like to purchase in the future. This was my first time ordering from Sylvane & I couldn't be more pleased!I would buy this product again.
