I have a tremendous amount of dust. This filter is always full of dust in a short period of time so being washable saves money and does a good job.

Our Winix filter is an amazing value. I've owned and/or tested a number of HEPA systems and the Winix is by far the best value AND quietest. AND you can see how well it works by looking at the filter easily, and also how well the AUTO function works as it comes on whenever there is an odor or smoke or anything.

THE FILTER WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND CAME IN THE MAIL MUCH QUICKER THAN I HAD EXPECTED. VERY EASY TO INSTALL. IT WAS A BIT PRICEY, BUT CHEAPER THAN OTHER WEBSITES THAT I HAD VISITED. HAVEN'T WASHED IT YET BUT THAT WILL BE THE TELL ALL IF IT WASHES WELL. WOULD DEFINITELY ORDER FROM SYLVANE AGAIN
