The Phoenix Guardian HEPA System was the first portable air-scrubbing device designed exclusively for the restoration industry. The Guardian can perform several critical air quality remediation functions simultaneously. The system captures virtually all removable airborne particles. Its optional 4-stage absorption filter contains a blend of activated carbon and potassium permanganate to remove airborne odors and chemicals.
The true 1,400-CFM capacity of the Guardian HEPA System will clean one air change of a 12- x 14-foot room in less than a minute. Therefore, a single Guardian can be expected to cover up to 21,000 cubic feet.
The unit's built-in, inclined manometer provides precise measurement of air-flow through the HEPA filter in order to determine when HEPA filter replacement is required.
The Guardian's high air flow and multiple ducting options allow for a combination of negative or positive air flow control within an area and for containment air-scrubbing at the same time. This provides a unique ability to continually filter the indoor air while depressurizing a damage site to prevent the spread of contamination.
The Guardian's intake will accept either an 18 in. flex-duct or a 12 in. flex-duct, with included adapter, to pressurize areas for protection from contamination or to draw contaminated air from areas that are difficult to access or that are too small to accommodate an air-scrubbing device.
Every Guardian HEPA System comes with one 14 in. lay-flat duct ring, for 100% negative air operation, and two 10 in. lay-flat duct rings for a combination of negative air, air-scrubbing or positive airflow.
