The AIRCARE 5D6-700 Mini-Console Humidifier offers precise humidity control for areas up to 1,250 square feet. A variety of automated functions along with an easy-fill water tank and a digital display help to simplify your humidity maintenance and control.

Injecting 3.79 gallons of moisturized air per day into your environment, the AIRCARE 5D6-700 features an easy top-fill water tank that holds 3 gallons of water, a 4-speed fan, and 2 AHAM-certified wick filters that absorb mineral deposits from hard water.
The unit can also accommodate AIRCARE's two-layer air-cleaning filter (model #1050), which removes dust, pollen, smoke, and odors from the air, prolonging the life of the wick. This optional filter is beneficial to allergy and asthma-sufferers.

In living/dining area, seems to make area comfortable.It doesn't reach the 40% level we set even though it runs constantly (electric bill will tell how efficient it is to run). Humidity level goes way down at night- room temp 65-66, wonder if we should turn it off at night.

I would have rated this 5 Star but I rated it 4 Star because of the location of the humidistat which is located on the units electrical cord. There should be a better location. Perhaps closer to the electric plug? The digital read outs are difficult to read when in a well lit room or bright sunlight. If the read outs were red they'd be a lot easier to read. Otherwise it has been a great humidifier for the month that I've had it running 24/7! I recommend it to everyone!

This is one of the best humidifiers I have ever used! I needed it to get some humidity in my apartment and not only did it work like magic for me, my cats are more relaxed with less static, too. Easy to set up and use, small footprint and quiet all make this a great product!
