Ceiling-Mounted Mini Split Air Conditioners

What Is A Ceiling-Mounted Mini-Split?

Unlike traditional wall-mounted mini-splits that are installed on the wall, ceiling-mounted ductless split systems are installed in the ceiling. This type of unit is most effective when placed in the center of your ceiling and has a couple of unique benefits. With more air outlets, you can direct the airflow into the corners of your room that ordinarily might be missed by wall units. Additionally, the bulk of the system is placed in the ceiling, so it creates a more finished look than wall units usually do.

Top Benefits Of A Ceiling-Mounted Mini Split

Like other ductless split system options, ceiling-mounted mini splits offer the same energy efficiency, improved comfort, and quiet operation expected from a ductless system.

Ceiling-mounted mini splits also really shine in a few other areas:

• Discrete Design: Ceiling-mounted mini-splits are a more discreet option than their wall-mounted counterparts. The only thing you'll notice is a small grille in your ceiling.
• Helps to Maximize Space:  This system maximizes a room's space by mounting it on the ceiling instead of the wall or the floor.
• Customizable Airflow:  Most ceiling-mounted mini-splits have multiple air outlets, which you can open and close to direct airflow where you want it.
