Small rooms usually run out of wall space first. The Senville Aura Ceiling Cassette 9,000 BTU Mini Split Heat Pump solves that by sitting in the ceiling instead. Most of its mechanics stay hidden above the ceiling, which gives the room a finished look.

It keeps working in harsh winters and on muggy days, so it also suits spaces that need climate control all year, including server rooms. An HVAC professional must install this heat pump. Your main decision is the line set length, and you can choose a line set kit or none at all.

Choose Your Line Set Length

You can order the Aura cassette with 4 line set options: None, 16 feet, 25 feet, or 50 feet. The None configuration is just the heat pump, which suits installers who prefer to cut and run refrigerant lines on site. The 16-foot kit includes an insulated 1/4 x 3/8-inch line set that fits short runs, such as when the outdoor condenser sits just outside the room.

The 25-foot kit adds reach when the outdoor location sits farther from the ceiling cassette. At 50 feet, the longest kit lets you place the condenser well away from the room, which helps when the best outdoor spot is on the far side of the building.
