The quality is OK, but assembly could have been a lot better. Cooler needs an adjusting device to direct air up/down. The blower motor is noisy! Even after I placed rubber isolators under the support brackets, it still generates a low pitched vibration that is carried throughout the house structure in the area of the cooler.

I am using the cooler to reduce heat and add moisture to my garage. I live in Phoenix and the extreme heat in our garage ruins anything with plastic and stresses our garage refrigerator. I coupled this cooler with a Lux thermostat so the cooler runs only after the temp reaches a preset temp.

We've use this same model for 7-years and needed to replace our old one and figured we'd get the same unit since it works for our greenhouse and keeps it cool in the hot Texas summer sun. Our greenhouse is a 10x10 unit and it keeps it about 15-20 degrees cooler than the outside temp. Our greenhouse is in direct sun all day too. No shade from trees. I'd recommend this product for sure. The only thing we noticed is the fan is lower on this unit than the previous one. Otherwise it works the same.
