The Aprilaire 24-volt Solenoid Valve (#4040) allows water to flow into your humidifier. It is recommended that any wiring on your humidifier be completed by a professional contractor. This part is not compatible with commercial units and some residential units. This valve has a 5-year limited warranty from the date of installation.

Not an exact replacement but works very well. The old one had a filter I could clean but the new one doesn't. I'll figure it out though. I will be buying more stuff from Sylvane. Thanks for the great service. Harold Chance
