Description
Description
Greenhouses and climate rooms are humid places to run electrical equipment, and the Gavita RS 1900e line is made for those conditions. You hang it horizontally above the canopy. From there it can serve as your only light source in a sealed room or fill in when daylight runs short in a greenhouse. It comes in a choice of 208-240V or 277-480V configurations.
Key Features and Benefits of the Gavita RS 1900e 208-480v LED Grow Light
- Full-Spectrum Output: A total output of 1,952 micromoles per second from 650 watts gives your canopy dense, even light from a single fixture.
- High Efficacy: A system PPF efficacy of 3 micromoles per joule means more usable light reaches your plants for every watt you pay for.
- IP66 Rating: The IP66 ingress protection rating lets you run the light in wet indoor environments where plants are misted or irrigated often.
- Foldable Rail Design: The 6-bar rail layout folds for easier handling and setup, and the included wire hangers let you hang it over your benches.
- Precision Dimming: An embedded adapter connects to the Gavita EL3 Master Controller, so you can dim down to 10 percent to match each growth stage.
- Efficient Power Draw: A power factor greater than 0.95 means the light uses incoming current efficiently and wastes less load on your electrical circuits.
- Low Amperage: A maximum draw of 3.12 amps helps you plan how many fixtures each circuit in your facility can support.
- Heat Output: A rated heat output of 2184 helps you size cooling and ventilation for your grow room.
- Safety Certifications: UL, cETLus, and ETL listings confirm the fixture meets recognized North American electrical safety standards.
- Slim Profile: At 44.8 x 43.25 x 3.3-Inches (L x W x H) and 29.8 pounds, the low-profile fixture leaves you more headroom above the canopy.
Choose Your Voltage Configuration
You can pick the RS 1900e in a 208-240V or 277-480V configuration, depending on your facility's supply voltage and how you want to connect it.
- 208-240V Model: This version runs on 208-volt and 220-240-volt supplies and connects through a 6-15P plug, so you can plug it into a matching outlet.
- 277-480V Model: This version runs on supplies from 277 to 480 volts and is hardwired into your electrical system, which suits permanent commercial installations.
Note: For dimming control, a Gavita EL3 Master Controller is required.
Sylvane's Expert Take
If you're running a commercial greenhouse or a multi-room indoor grow, the RS 1900e works best in humid, enclosed rooms where you want one fixture to cover the full canopy. Pick your voltage based on your wiring: the 208-240V model plugs in, while the 277-480V model is meant for hardwired commercial service. Watch the efficacy rating and the 10 percent dimming floor most closely, because together they shape your energy costs and how well light matches each crop stage. It's a solid base for expanding your grow.
