Info & Guides

Description

Delivering reliable rooftop air exhaust, the Canarm ALX105-DD013V Downblast Exhauster is engineered for commercial and light-industrial ventilation tasks that demand consistent performance. Its direct drive design pairs a 1/8 horsepower motor with a 10.5-inch backward-inclined wheel to move air efficiently while maintaining a compact footprint.

This spun-aluminum fan operates on 120 or 240-volt power, giving you the flexibility to match site requirements. Variable-speed capability allows airflow adjustments across a broad range, making it a versatile choice for factories, warehouses, offices, and other facilities.

Key Features and Benefits of the Canarm ALX105-DD013V 10.5 in. Spun Aluminum Direct Drive Downblast Exhauster

  • Variable-Speed PSC Motor: Dial in the exact airflow you need, optimizing energy use while matching real-time ventilation demands. Requires the Canarm MC5 120V or Fantech RPE 210 230V external controllers for variable speed performance.

  • 1/8 HP Exhaust Motor: The Canarm ALX105-DD013V has a 1/8 horsepower motor that is capable of outputting exhaust airflows of up to 950 CFM (at 0.0 inches w.g.) and has a max fan speed of 1,650 RPM.

  • Dual-Voltage Wiring: Connect to 120-volt or 240-volt power supplies at 50 or 60 Hz, simplifying retrofits and new builds with different electrical requirements.

  • Dependable Output: The non-overloading, aluminum backward-inclined wheel design prevents motor overloading even as pressure changes.

  • Durable Design: The corrosion-resistant spun-aluminum housing will not rust, chip, or peel in harsh rooftop conditions, reducing long-term maintenance.

  • Direct Drive Configuration: The propeller directly mounted on the motor shaft reduces friction and increases efficiency.

  • Roof or Wall Mounting: Versatile mounting directly to the wall or in a 15 inch roof opening.  Includes a bird screen to keep debris and wildlife out of the fan cavity.

Install With Ease

The ALX105-DD013V ships ready for either roof or wall mounting. Its square base aligns with standard curb caps, while the two-and-one-half-inch spun skirt seats securely over flashing to keep water out of the building envelope. A prewired junction box simplifies electrical hookup, and the fan’s dual-voltage motor lets you connect to existing 120 or 240-volt service without changing components.
