Info & Guides

Description

Crowded patios rarely have floor space to spare for freestanding heaters. The Bromic Tungsten 208V Smart-Heat Electric Outdoor Patio Heater gets around that by mounting overhead on a wall or ceiling, so your walkways stay clear and the warmth lands on your guests.

If you run a restaurant or bar, the Tungsten keeps outdoor tables and valet parking stands comfortable as evenings turn cold. At home, it brings the same instant heat to your patio, and because it runs on electricity, there are no fuel tanks to refill or store.

Key Features and Benefits of the Bromic Tungsten 208V Smart-Heat Electric Outdoor Patio Heater

  • Quartz Heating Element: A quartz element puts out strong heat as soon as you switch it on, with a soft red glow instead of harsh light.
  • Mesh Screen: A high-performance mesh screen spreads infrared heat over a wide area, so 1 heater warms more of your seating.
  • Mirror-Finish Reflector: A mirror-finished rear reflector sends heat back toward your guests, so less warmth is lost into the wall or ceiling behind it.
  • Slim Mounting Profile: A 3.5-inch depth and the included bracket let you mount it close to a wall or ceiling, always horizontally, then tilt it to aim the heat.
  • 208V Hardwired Power: A 208-volt hardwired connection means no cords trailing across your patio for guests or staff to trip over.
  • UL, CSA, ETL: Certifications from UL, CSA, and ETL show the heater meets recognized safety standards for commercial and residential spaces.
  • Overheat Protection: Automatic overheat protection steps in if the heater runs too hot, giving you peace of mind during long service nights.
  • Stainless Steel Build: Stainless steel construction with a corrosion-resistant, high-temperature black coating holds up to daily outdoor use season after season.
  • Electronic Controls: Electronic controls with 1 heat setting keep operation simple, so your staff can turn on heat without adjusting anything.

Choose Your Wattage

The Tungsten line comes in 2 wattage options, 4,000 watts and 6,000 watts, so you can size the heater to the area you need to keep warm.

  • 4,000-Watt Model: This model produces 13,700 BTUs to warm areas up to 130 square feet. At 44 inches wide and 19.8 pounds, it suits a smaller patio or bar corner.
  • 6,000-Watt Model: Compared with the smaller model, this version raises output to 20,500 BTUs and covers up to 160 square feet. At 56 inches wide and 22 pounds, it suits larger seating areas.

Note: The 6,000-watt model draws up to 25 amps, compared with 16.6 amps for the 4,000-watt model, so confirm your circuit capacity before installation.

Sylvane's Expert Take

If you manage a restaurant patio or bar, the Tungsten works best mounted above fixed seating, where the heat can fall straight onto your guests. Go with the 4,000-watt model for a compact area, and step up to the 6,000-watt model when your tables stretch toward 160 square feet.

Both versions are hardwired, so plan the electrical run and the bracket position at the same time. The reflector and mesh screen are what make this heater worth mounting, because they push the heat forward and out instead of into the wall.
