Nilfisk VHS120 Wet/Dry Industrial Vacuum - Standard L-Class Filter is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Description
Description
The single-phase design plugs into a standard outlet rated at 110-120 volts, so you can move it from a foundry floor to a food packaging room. The canister measures 22.5 x 22 x 40-Inches (L x W x H), so check your doorways and aisles before you roll it into position.
Key Features and Benefits of the Nilfisk VHS120 Wet/Dry Industrial Vacuum
- Twin Bypass Motors: Its 2 bypass motors draw 2,000 watts to produce 176 CFM of airflow, so you get strong suction on fine dust and wet spills.
- Strong Water Lift: A water lift of 83.2 inches pulls heavy, wet material up the hose, so you can clear liquids and sludge in fewer passes.
- Longopac Collection: Nilfisk's Longopac system drops up to 6.6 gallons of debris into tubular bags that you seal and cut away from outside the vacuum.
- Sealed Filtration: A sealed filtration system keeps captured dust inside the canister, which protects your operators during silica, foundry, and metalworking cleanup.
- Manual Filter Shaker: When suction drops, pull the built-in shaker knob in and out several times to knock caked debris loose from the filter.
- Manometer Gauge: A gauge on the front of the vacuum shows filter pressure at a glance, so you know when to shake the filter before performance falls.
- Long Reach: A 30-foot power cord and 30 feet of cleaning reach let you cover wide production floors with fewer outlet changes.
- Locking Casters: The front swivel casters lock in place to hold the 84-pound vacuum steady while you clean around equipment.
- Noise Level: Maximum noise level of 74 dB, so you can check it against your site's sound limits.
Standard vs HEPA: Choose Your Filtration
The VHS120 line comes in 2 filtration configurations, Standard L-Class Filter and L-Class Filter + HEPA Filter, so you can match the level of capture to your dust hazard.
- Standard L-Class Filter: This base configuration uses an L-Class polyester star filter that captures up to 99.99 percent of particles larger than 2 microns, which handles general fine-dust and wet pickup.
- L-Class Filter + HEPA Filter: This configuration keeps the same L-Class star filter and adds a certified HEPA/S-Class filter mounted before the motor, which traps the finest dust so it cannot escape back into your workspace.
Sylvane's Expert Take
If you run a foundry or a food or pharmaceutical plant where breathable dust is a compliance issue, this vacuum works best on hard production floors with nearby outlets. The filter shaker is manual, so train your crew to check the manometer and shake the filter before suction fades. Sealed bag changes keep turnaround short between batches. Pick the Standard setup for general fine dust or the HEPA setup for your most sensitive areas, and you'll get the same motor power and bagging system with either one.
