Description

Are you planning a new media wall, or replacing an old wood-burning firebox? The Modern Flames Redstone Traditional Fireplace works for both. You can frame it into new or existing construction and hard-wire it, or set it into an existing fireplace and plug the included cord into a nearby outlet. It can also go beneath a TV, so your screen and your fire share one wall.

 

What makes the Redstone line look real is its Hybrid-FX flame technology. It raises the flame height across an enlarged viewing area, so the fire holds up next to gas and wood fireplaces. A sculpted driftwood log set rests on an acrylic crystal ember bed, and the flame and embers each have their own controls.

  • Hybrid-FX Flames: Hybrid-FX LED flame technology makes the flames as tall as possible across the viewing area, so the fire looks full from across the room.
  • Dual Heat Settings: The fan-forced heater runs at 733 watts on low or 1465 watts on high and puts out up to 5000 BTU to warm rooms up to 400 square feet.
  • Thermostat Control: You can set a target from 68 to 88 degrees F or switch to Celsius. The fireplace cycles its heat to hold that temperature.

Each step up in width adds viewing area and weight to plan for during framing, while the heat output stays the same.

  • RS-3021 (30-Inch): The RS-3021 measures 29.25 x 9.25 x 18.9-Inches (L x W x H) with the 5/8-inch trim. Its 28-inch-wide viewing area and 50-pound weight suit compact walls and existing fireboxes.
  • RS-3626 (36-Inch): The RS-3626 measures 33.75 x 9.25 x 24-Inches (L x W x H) with the 5/8-inch trim. Its viewing area is more than 32 inches wide, which fits most living rooms and walls beneath a TV.
  • RS-4229 (42-Inch): The RS-4229 measures 39.75 x 9.25 x 27-Inches (L x W x H) with the 5/8-inch trim. Its 38.5-inch viewing area and 90-pound weight let it anchor a large feature wall.

Note: Using the 1 5/8-inch trim adds 2 inches to both the overall width and height of each model.
