Info & Guides

Description

You can turn a blank wall above a media console or across from the bed into a focal point by sliding in the SimpliFire Allusion Edge Linear Electric Fireplace. Its clean-face design sits flush in a finished wall, so the flames look like part of the surface. For added convenience, the Allusion Edge fireplace line comes in four widths so you can size it exactly to your wall.

Key Features and Benefits of the SimpliFire Allusion Edge Linear Electric Fireplace

  • Zone Heating: A 5,000 BTU, 1,500-watt heater with two heat settings warms rooms of 350 to 499 square feet, so you can heat the space you use.
  • 4 Flame Effects: Switch between Signature, Classic, Dancing, and Chromatic flame modes to match the look of the fire to the mood of the room.
  • Glowing Log Bed: A log set and glass rocks over a glowing ember bed give the firebox realistic depth, even when you run it in flame-only mode.
  • Crackling Sound Effects: Choose from three crackling fire sound effects with dedicated volume control, so the audio can stay in the background or fill the room.
  • Wi-Fi App Control: The Wi-Fi app adjusts the thermostat and lighting and switches power, while electronic controls and the included remote work from across the room.
  • Programmable Timer: Set the built-in programmable timer so the fireplace shuts off on its own, which saves you energy after you leave the room or fall asleep.
  • Flexible Power Options: Plug it in or hardwire it on a circuit rated 110 to 120 volts and 12.5 amps, whichever suits your wiring and installation plan.
  • Overheat Protection: Automatic overheat protection guards against excess internal heat, and cCSAus certification confirms the fireplace meets safety standards for the U.S. and Canada.
  • Slide-In Installation: The built-in black firebox slides into finished drywall, tile, or stone walls, so you get a frameless linear look without a full masonry build.

Choose Your Width

The Allusion Edge comes in four widths, so you can match the length of the flame to your wall, from a compact bedroom feature to a full-length living room focal point.

  • 50-Inch Model: The SF-ALLE50 measures 52.31 x 5.63 x 20.38 inches (L x W x H) and weighs 132 pounds, sized for bedrooms and narrower feature walls.
  • 60-Inch Model: The SF-ALLE60 measures 62.31 x 5.63 x 20.38 inches (L x W x H) and weighs 152 pounds, a good fit under a mid-size wall-mounted TV.
  • 78-Inch Model: The SF-ALLE78 measures 79.63 x 5.63 x 20.38 inches (L x W x H) and weighs 196 pounds, giving open-plan living rooms a wider, more dramatic flame line.
  • 100-Inch Model: The SF-ALLE100 measures 101.63 x 5.63 x 20.38 inches (L x W x H) and weighs 249 pounds, made for long feature walls and great rooms where the fireplace anchors the space.

Sylvane's Expert Take

If you want a built-in fireplace that looks like part of the house rather than an appliance, the SimpliFire Allusion Edge Linear Electric Fireplace works best in living rooms and primary suites where the wall is the design statement. Every width uses the same 5,000 BTU heater, so going from 50 to 100 inches gets you a wider flame view, not more warmth. Pick your size by wall proportion, then use flame-only mode and the Wi-Fi app to enjoy it all year.
