Description

Experience adaptive airflow with the Vornado EOS 9 Multi-Axis Oscillating OmniWave Desk Fan. Built for whole-room circulation, this desk-friendly air mover pairs Vornado’s signature vortex action with multi-directional motion to keep fresh air moving without constant adjustment.

Backed by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor and a minimalist touch display, the EOS 9 delivers personalized comfort in workspaces, bedrooms, or shared living areas while occupying a modest footprint.

Key Features and Benefits of the Vornado EOS 9 Multi-Axis Oscillating OmniWave Desk Fan

  • OmniWave Motion: A choice of 90-degree or 180-degree horizontal sweeping oscillation, with a 120-degree vertical tilt, blankets any room in even airflow, without manual adjustments.
  • Ten Fan Speeds: A variable DC motor lets you match airflow to the moment, from a whisper-quiet breeze during quiet moments to a powerful blast, up to 1,302 CFM, all while using less electricity than traditional AC motors.
  • Four Smart Modes: Standard, Sleep, Breeze, and Cyclic settings automatically adjust speed and pattern settings to maintain comfort, making it easy to create natural-feeling air movement day or night. You can also program cooling with the 12-timer setting.
  • Integrated Ambient Lighting: Five brightness levels and a dedicated Lamp Mode add gentle illumination to your desk or nightstand, reducing the need for a separate accent light.
  • Aromatherapy Ready: Drop your favorite essential oils onto the included scent pads to circulate a subtle fragrance throughout the space for an added layer of relaxation.
  • Integrated Remote: The slim remote attaches magnetically to the fan base, stays charged for months, and spares you from hunting for replacement batteries. (USB-C charger sold separately)
  • MagClean Grille: Remove the front grille in seconds without tools for quick dusting, and keep airflow unobstructed without special tools.
  • Safestop Protection: An internal cutoff disengages the motor if the grille is removed while running, adding peace of mind in homes with curious kids or pets. A display lock function stops unintended startup or changes to settings.

Quiet, Focused Flow

The combination of a DC motor and multi-axis motion gives the EOS 9 a unique advantage: targeted airflow that feels strong yet stays remarkably quiet. At lower speeds, sound fades into the background, supporting concentration in shared offices. But even on higher settings, the Vornado EOS 9 barely gets louder than 42 dB, making it a much less obtrusive option than traditional desk fans.

Sylvane’s Expert Take

The Vornado EOS 9 is more than a basic desk fan; it's a unique and powerful cooling solution with an integrated lighting feature. Multi-axis motion eliminates dead zones, the DC motor saves energy, and smart modes handle daily comfort adjustments for you. The ambient lighting, aromatherapy pads, and docking remote make it a versatile solution for both work and relaxation spaces. If you need quiet, customizable airflow in a compact design, the Vornado EOS 9 Multi-Axis Oscillating OmniWave Desk Fan stands out as a dependable, feature-rich choice.
