Description
Description
Commercial grow rooms run hot, humid, and around the clock, and the Pro RS 2400e is built for that kind of room. Its custom Gavita diodes and drivers carry your crop from vegetative growth into high-light bloom and finish. The foldable frame makes the light easier to store between cycles and to lift into place. Either cord fits the wiring your facility already has.
The Pro RS 2400e is DLC listed, which can make your fixtures eligible for energy rebates through your local municipality. Its high photon efficacy also means more of every watt you pay for reaches the canopy as light your plants can use. Both matter most when you are fitting out a full room, not a single tent.
Key Features and Benefits of the Gavita Pro RS 2400e LED Grow Light
- Photon Efficacy: Rated at 3.0 micromoles per joule (measured from 400 to 700 nanometers), the fixture turns more of each watt into light your plants can use.
- High Output: A total output of 2396 micromoles per second from 800 watts gives you the intensity that dense, high-light bloom stages demand.
- Full Spectrum: Custom Gavita diodes produce broad white light with an enhanced blue spectrum, which can help intensify terpene and cannabinoid profiles in your crop.
- Passive Cooling: The fixture's 8 LED bars cool passively without fans, so you have fewer moving parts to wear out over many grow cycles.
- Wet Rated: An IP66 wet rating and ANSI/CAN/UL 8800 compliance help the light stand up to the moisture of a working grow room.
- Heat Tolerance: It operates in ambient temperatures up to 104 degrees F, so the light keeps running when your room heats up in summer.
- Dimming Range: You can dim down to 10 percent with no loss of efficiency, and the embedded adapter lets you set light intensity for each growth stage.
- Large-Scale Control: You can link up to 512 fixtures in a daisy chain and run sunrise, sunset, and day-length schedules across a whole facility.
- Safety Listings: UL and cETLus listings, plus ETL certification and DLC listing, show the fixture meets recognized safety and efficiency standards.
- Foldable Frame: The fixture measures 44.8 x 43.25 x 3.3-Inches (L x W x H), weighs 35.3 pounds, and folds down for easier storage and installation.
Choose Your Power Cord Voltage
You can get the Pro RS 2400e with either a 208-240-volt or a 277-400-volt power cord, depending on the electrical service in your grow room.
- 208-240 Volt Power Cord: This configuration comes with a power cord rated for 208 to 240 volts, so the fixture connects directly to circuits in that range.
- 277-400 Volt Power Cord: This configuration comes with a power cord rated for 277 to 400 volts, suited to the higher-voltage lighting circuits used in larger commercial facilities.
Note: For dimming and scheduled operation, the Gavita Master EL3 Controller is required.
Sylvane's Expert Take
If you're outfitting a commercial or multi-room grow, the Pro RS 2400e makes the most sense when you plan to fill an entire room and run every fixture on one schedule. Before you commit, check the voltage your electrician has run to the lighting circuits. Both cord options power the same fixture, so you are choosing based on wiring, not output. For dense canopies on a tight energy budget, this is a light worth planning a room around.
