Set the Right Hanging Height for Each Growth Stage
Your hanging height should change as your plants mature. During vegetative growth, mount the light 26 to 30 inches above the canopy to spread light across the full 3 x 3 feet footprint. Once plants flip to flower, lower it to 16 to 20 inches, which concentrates intensity over a tighter 2 x 2 feet area where buds need it most.
