It is tuned for the vegetative stage, giving your seedlings and young plants a broad blue-weighted spectrum that encourages compact, leafy growth before you move them to flower.

Across the line, diffused light gets deeper into your canopy and spreads more evenly, even at close range. That matters on a rack, where plants sit close to the light and you can't raise the fixture far.

  • 110-120V with Manual Knob: This version uses a 5-15P plug for standard 120-volt outlets and a built-in potentiometer knob, so you can set intensity by hand at the fixture.
  • 110-120V with RJ12 0-10V: This version uses a 5-15P plug for 120-volt outlets and an RJ12 jack, letting you adjust intensity from an external controller.
  • 220-240V with Manual Knob: This version uses a 6-15P plug for 240-volt circuits and a built-in potentiometer knob for simple manual intensity adjustment.
  • 220-240V with RJ12 0-10V: This version uses a 6-15P plug for 240-volt circuits and an RJ12 jack, so you can manage intensity from an external controller.

Note: The RJ12 0-10V versions require a third-party controller to adjust light intensity.

If you're running a vertical rack or a dedicated veg area and want dense, healthy plants before flowering, this is the light to look at. Mount it 15 to 24 inches above the canopy for everyday use. That covers a 2 x 4 veg footprint, and dropping it to 12 inches widens coverage to a 3 x 5 area as your rack spacing allows.

Your biggest decision is dimming control. Pick the manual knob if you adjust each light by hand, and pick RJ12 only if you already have a 0-10V controller or plan to run several fixtures from one. Since the light dims from 40 to 240 watts, a single fixture can carry your plants from early veg right up to transition.
