Refilling this Vornado Energy Smart Humidifier’s 1-gallon water tank is easy. Just remove It from the main body, unscrew the cap, and fill it up right at the sink. This humidifier is much quieter than my ten year old one was. I leave it on the energy setting and seems to be putting out a consistent amount of moisture. When the temperature is below freezing and the humidity level set to 55%, it goes through one reservoir a day. It is also very easy to fill and clean reservoir. Over all I'm happy with the purchase after one month.

We moved to Tucson two years ago and soon found we had dry skin problems and frequent nosebleeds due to the low humidity. Our new Vornado seems to have solved those problems! We use it every night in our bedroom and close the door to trap the humidity, and we usually leave it on all day to provide more humidity to our two-bedroom apartment. It is most effective at night, however, in the one bedroom. We found we can just leave it on the default settings, and that is sufficient. It is not difficult to refill the water container, and one container lasts all day.. We are very pleased that we bought the Vornado!

The humidifier is easy to use, works well and uses very little electricity. It's a little loud, but not too bad.
