Info & Guides

Description

The Ebac DD200 Desiccant Dehumidifier has a compact, rugged, and lightweight design that facilitates transport by a single person and is easily accommodated in areas with space restrictions.

This desiccant dryer incorporates a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) Heater to ensure immediate maximum drying with a constantly maintained level during operation. Designed for extremely low-temperature humidity control in commercial applications, this dehumidifier can remove up to 40 PPD (AHAM).

How Desiccant Dehumidifiers Work

Desiccant dehumidifiers use a process called adsorption (different from absorption) to remove moisture from damp air and saturated surfaces. This process uses a Silica Gel wheel, plus an internal heater, to recirculate drier air throughout a room, reducing overall humidity levels and drying surfaces.

Because they contain no refrigerant, desiccant dehumidifiers can operate in extremely low temperatures, down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit.

Ideal Applications

The Ebac DD200 desiccant dehumidifier, or dryer, can restore damp spaces up to 400 square feet, including:

  • Offices, Shops, & Restaurants
  • Hotels, Pharmaceuticals, & Confectionery
  • Basements, Factories, & Warehouses

Additional Features

  • Electronic Controls: Easy pushbutton electronic controls and indicators.
  • Manual and Automatic Operating Modes: Choose your settings manually or run the unit automatically with the help of an external remote humidistat (sold separately).
  • Remote Humidistat Facility: Connect an external remote humidistat (not included) to control humidity automatically and from a remote location if desired.
  • Low Temperature Operation: This unit continues removing moisture even in temperatures as low as -4 degrees F!
  • Inlet Air Filter: Help clean the air as it enters the dehumidifier.
  • Hours Run Meter: Displays the total time the unit has been in operation.
  • High-Temperature Safety Cutout: Shuts off the unit in temperatures over 104 degrees F.
  • Ammeter: Monitors electrical current.
  • Stainless Steel Construction: Ensures that the dehumidifier remains rust-free even in the harshest environments.

Summary

The Ebac DD200 Desiccant Dehumidifier is a compact, rugged, unit which can remove up to 40 pints of moisture daily in AHAM conditions.
