Description
Description
A chilly bathroom or a back bedroom that your central system never quite reaches is where the King Electric PAW Wall Heater earns its spot. It mounts in the wall, so nothing sits on your floor. Every model is made in the USA.
Key Features and Benefits of the King Electric PAW Wall Heater
- Fan-Forced Heat: A squirrel-cage blower moves 75 CFM of warm air out into the room, so you feel heat across the space and not just near the wall.
- Heat Output: Each model produces 5,115 BTU (7,673 BTU for the 2,250-watt models), so you can size the heater to the room you want to warm.
- Smart Limit Protection: Smart Limit Protection shuts off the heating elements and motor when it detects unusually high temperatures, which protects your home from overheating.
- cULus Certified: The heater carries cULus certification, so you know it meets recognized safety standards for installation in the US and Canada.
- Variable Manual Control: Manual controls with variable heat settings let you fine-tune the output to your comfort level instead of settling for a few fixed steps.
- Compact Wall Can: The wall can measures 4.4 x 12.5 x 6.5-Inches (L x W x H), and the 9.5-pound heater uses quick-set wall tabs to make installation easier.
- Powder-Coat Finish: A white powder-coated finish stands up to daily use, so the grille keeps looking clean in busy bathrooms and bedrooms.
- 5-Year Warranty: King Electric backs the heater with a limited warranty, giving you years of coverage after installation.
Choose Your Wattage and Voltage
The PAW line comes in 3 configurations, each set by voltage: 120 volts, 208 volts, and 240 volts.
- 1,500-Watt 120-Volt Model PAW1215-W: This model draws 12.5 amps on a standard household circuit and warms rooms up to 150 square feet, which makes it a good fit for bathrooms and small bedrooms.
- 2,250-Watt 208-Volt Model PAW2022-W: This model draws 10.8 amps and heats rooms up to 200 square feet, so it suits mid-size bedrooms and home offices.
- 2,250-Watt 240-Volt Model PAW2422-W: Drawing just 9.5 amps, this model puts less load on your circuit and covers rooms up to 225 square feet, the most of any PAW model.
Note: Every PAW model requires a dedicated built-in or wall-mounted thermostat, and the voltage you choose must match your home's electrical system.
Sylvane's Expert Take
If you're heating a bathroom or home office that your main system shortchanges, the PAW line works best where you can pair it with a dedicated thermostat. Let your wiring narrow the choice, then pick the model whose coverage fits the room. The blower and Smart Limit Protection matter most here, because together they keep heat moving and shut the heater down before it overheats. Once it's installed, the room stays warm without a space heater sitting on your floor.
