Description

A heater that only senses the air around itself can leave the far side of a room chilly. The King Electric PX ECO2S 2-Stage Electric Wall Heater reads the temperature from a sensor you place elsewhere in the room and adjusts its output to match. The PX ECO2S line comes in 120-volt and 230-volt versions, and each one is offered in white or bronze.

 

This heater stays useful after winter ends. A fan-only mode moves air through the room during summer, so it doesn't sit idle for half the year. Every model in the line is made in the USA.

  • PX1215-ECO-WD-R (White, 120 Volts): This white model draws 1,500 watts and 12.5 amps, producing 5,115 BTU of heat for rooms up to 150 square feet.
  • PX1215-ECO-OB-R (Bronze, 120 Volts): This bronze model puts out 1,500 watts and 5,115 BTU, enough to warm a room of up to 150 square feet.
  • PX2417-ECO-WD-R (White, 230 Volts): This white model delivers 1,750 watts and 5,968 BTU while drawing only 7.3 amps, covering rooms up to 175 square feet.
  • PX2417-ECO-OB-R (Bronze, 230 Volts): Finished in bronze, this 208-to-230-volt model provides 1,750 watts and 5,968 BTU at a 7.3-amp draw, so it can heat rooms up to 175 square feet.

Note: Every model is hardwired, so confirm whether your circuit supplies 120 or 230 volts before you choose a model.

If you're heating a single bedroom or home office that never warms evenly, this King Electric line is worth a close look. The remote sensor responds to the coldest part of the room instead of the air next to the heater. Choose the voltage your existing circuit supports, and then the finish is your only other decision.
