The Friedrich 7,000 BTU ZoneAire Premier PTAC with Electric Heat deals with that by lining its thick steel inner walls with foam, which cuts both sound and energy loss so your guests can rest while the room heats or cools. It is offered in 208-230V and 265V configurations.
Behind the front panel, a fan with nearly 5 times the surface area of typical PTAC fans spreads air evenly across the room. The system also checks indoor air every 9 minutes to hold your setting. You get an adjustable fresh air intake and adjustable louvers for ventilation and airflow direction, and the modular build makes it easy to reach key components and the 2 washable permanent filters.

- 265V Model PDE07R3SGR3: This model is rated for 260-280V service through a 7-20P plug on a 2.3-foot cord and draws 2.1 amps cooling and 13.1 amps heating, and its 13.3 EER trims your energy use slightly.
