I appreciate the manual controls and 24 hour on/off timer, as well as the compact design (it is much smaller than other heaters on the market). Run the unit on high for a few hours when it first arrives, in order to burn off the smell. After that, set the thermostat and use normally. Do spend 10 minutes reading the instruction booklet so that you know what thise timer tabs are doing.
