Description
The Airthings View Radon Monitor features the newest technology in digital radon detection. With a customizable display and Wave functionality, you can stay on top of any radon level in your home or office.
Customize the display or use the Wave function to immediately see your air quality level, including temperature and humidity.
Accurate Radon Detection
Using alpha spectrometry, the Airthings View Radon monitor samples the air every 60 minutes measuring radon levels from 0 – 500 pCi/L / 0 – 20,000 Bq/m3 (Becquerel/cubic meter). Note: 1 Becquerel = 1 radioactive disintegration per second.
This sensor is accurate at 5.4 pCi/L / 200 Bq/m3: After 7 days ~ 10 % After 2 months ~ 5 %. The longer the View Radon monitor is used, the more accurate it becomes.
Why Radon Detection is Important
Radon is a naturally occurring gas that moves through the ground into the air and is present in all 50 states. While not all radon levels are harmful, there are areas where they exceed the safety standard set by the EPA (4pCi/L or higher is considered unsafe).
Radon is also the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer in the world, behind smoking, and nearly 1 out of every 15 homes in the US has an elevated radon level in excess of the safe standard. You can use the EPA radon interactive map to discover if you live in an area with high radon levels—down to the county level.
Humidity and Temperature
In addition to radon, the Airthings View tracks temperature and humidity in your home or office, sampling the air every 5 minutes and displaying the information on the monitor. Temperature accuracy is ± 1° F, and humidity accuracy is ± 3% RH.
Stay Connected
The Airthings View Radon monitor is Wi-Fi enabled and, when used with a USB cable, can act as an internet hub for always-on access to your multiple monitors, including any Airthings Wave, Wave Plus, or View monitor. These top-quality monitors can be used in larger commercial spaces like office buildings and schools to track air quality, radon levels, and more in one convenient data hub. By connecting to the Airthings App, you can check live readings, configure notifications, analyze trends, and get air quality tips.
View data in graph form, as well as see individual room information directly on the monitor itself using the customizable display screen, or simply by waving your hand in front of it. Color-coded indicators will glow green (good), yellow (fair), or red (poor).

Product works great. The display on the unit itself is easy to read. But the best feature is the data logging at AirThings.com. Having a historical trend is incredibly helpful. It even helped me know when my radon fan stopped working. Once the fan was fixed, I could observe the reduction in radon levels over the following days. Much better than tracking on a spreadsheet. I also purchased the AirThings 223 digital meter. Both units report readings similar enough to each other that I feel they're accurate for my needs.
