Description
The 21.8-inch high DeLonghi HCX9115E is a slim convection heater with 3 vents that distribute 5,118 BTUs of supplemental warm air around your room. It's a great option for heating rooms quickly and efficiently up to 150 square feet. Mount it on your wall to save even more floor space, or use the included mounting feet for freestanding on the floor. Program the heater to kick on or off at a specific time.
A programmable thermostat, 3 heating modes, key lock, and LED digital display make operating this 1,500-watt heater a breeze.
Floor or Wall-Mounted Design
The slim design of the DeLonghi heater is less than 3-inches in depth, and it comes with 2 mounting feet for freestanding use. To save floor space, 2 wall brackets are included for simple wall mounting.
Full-Room Heating
A slim style convection heater, the DeLonghi HCX9115E offers technology to spread warm air across your room. You are assured plentiful heat up to 150 square feet with 3 heating modes plus an freeze protection mode.
- Freeze Protection: Designed to keep a room above 45 degrees F, set to this mode in kitchens with exposed piping.
- Heating 1 - 3: Select one of the three heat settings--low, medium, or high--using the adjustment buttons--(+) or (-)--to increase or decrease the temperature by 1 degree.
- Heating 3 + Fan: Use this maximum setting between 61 - 90 degrees F for quick room warming.
- Eco Plus: Available for heating modes 1, 2, and 3, this mode will alternate between the highest and lowest power levels, reducing energy output while maintaining comfort.
DeLonghi's Hi-Fi Convection Heating
Convection heaters, particularly models with fans, are known for quickly heating entire rooms. Currents are sent across a heating element to create warmth, which is then spread around your room with the fan. This model uses 3 vents--side and top--to distribute heat quicker and more evenly across your office, bedroom, or other areas.
Safety Features
Designed for your safety, the heater is equipped with tip-over and overheat protection, shutting off the unit in case it is accidentally knocked over or if overheating is detected. Additionally, a buzzer will sound when the unit is knocked over to alert you to the issue.

Convection heater does a nice job of heating a room that is generally quite cold. However, it seems the heating portion of the unit stays on almost continuously. Not exactly certain of the impact on my electricity usage?

The family loves this! There is no sound, and it keeps the bedrooms at a great temperature all night. (Only minor detail is that we wish there is a mute button--turning it on/off results in a loud beep, but this is truly just a minor issue.)

I bought this as gift for my wife for our second home. Please note I only got it last week, so I'll try to update my review after a while if I have any new feedback. The real only issue I found with DeLonghi is that you can not use an smart power outlet. Other than that, it is powerful enough (for my living room with a lot of windows), silent, has a fan (in case I need to warm up the room quickly) and looks great. The overall engineering design of this heater is great. I really like the ECO mode that automatically decreases the power level when it's warm enough rather than completely shuts off the heater.
