Description
Description
The Ebac DD400 Desiccant Dehumidifier is a rugged, yet compact and lightweight unit can be easily transported by one person and fits into space-restricted areas.
With a minimum operating temperature of -4 degrees Fahrenheit, this desiccant dehumidifier operates efficiently in unheated, remote areas with minimal oversight.
Rugged Design
Constructed from high-grade stainless steel, the Ebac DD400 remains rust-free even in harsh environments. It incorporates a high-efficiency patented PPS Rotor and spigot connectors, which allow quick and easy installation.
To ensure optimum performance, an 82 percent active silica gel is used with the desiccant wheel, and all desiccant rotors supplied by Ebac are washable, designed for high performance and long life.
Key Design Features
- Stainless Steel Construction: High-grade stainless steel prevents rusting in damp environments.
- Auto / Manual Mode Selection: This standard feature also supports a remote humidistat for automatic operation.
- Electronic Controls: The DD400 is controlled by an electronic circuit board & records hours run.
- Dual High-Capacity PTC Heater: Maintenance-free, these heaters’ technology provides the heat to reactivate the silica gel rotor.
- Low-Temperature Operation: Use this compact desiccant dryer in remote spaces where oversight is difficult or impractical. Since no condensate is produced, below-freezing temperatures are immaterial.
- On-board Ammeter: Displays the current used by the dehumidifier and monitors its effectiveness.
- Overheat Protector: Located inside the unit, this will switch off the PTC heaters should the temperature become excessive.
- Duct Connection: Both the regen (damp air) and the dry air outlet can be ducted. Moist air can be ducted outside the space requiring dehumidification (5-inch duct). Dry air can be directed toward more severe damp spaces (4-inch duct).
