An onboard humidistat automatically maintains your exact humidity level. We recommend setting the humidity between 45 and 50 percent on the control panel. I was faced with a decision to buy this product from Sylvane at a cheaper price, or locally where a return (if needed) would be more convenient. I chose Sylvane. When I received my dehumidifier it would not work. I kept getting error messages, an LED light was not functioning, and it would not remove any humidity from the air. Even though I had a problem, I would buy from Sylvane again. After following the return instructions, they issued me an RMA number, prepaid shipping label, and promptly sent me a replacement. They turned a negative experience into a positive one.

This is the third dehumidifier I have owned and is the best so far. I had my carpet cleaned a few days ago so this dehumidifier was put to the test and passed with flying colors. I was so impressed with it, I got rid of my other dehumidifier. It is also very quiet.
