Honeywell Portable AC Sliding Glass Door Kit (A-4239-300-P)
Description
Description
The Honeywell Portable AC Sliding Glass Door Kit makes it easy to vent single-hose portable air conditioners through sliding glass doors. Three pieces are included in the kit, which extends from 28.5 - 82 inches. Panels measure 4.5 inches wide. Part # A-4239-300-P
While it was designed for Honeywell MF, MM, MP, and MN Series portable ACs, it fits many other models. These include most DeLonghi, Honeywell, Danby, Whynter, and Haier models. This kit fits most single-hose ACs with 5-inch exhaust hoses. Adhesive foam weatherstripping is included to seal any gaps between the kit and door frame when installed.
If your door is longer than 82 inches, you can add Plexiglas or other material to fill in the extra space. If you have any questions, please contact us at 1-800-934-9194.

I use it for my sliding glass door attached to my second story balcony. It's nice that I have the kit available to me, seeing no other company does but it does do all that great when it comes to retaining the air. My energy bill went up almost a hundred extra dollars in using my portable ac with this kit.

I use it in my bedroom and it cools the room off nicely. The lights on it act as a night light. It's a little loud but doesn't hamper my sleep.

Well, I'm using your sliding glass door insert unit, for another purpose. I configuring a way to vent our kitchen food smells, out of the 2nd floor level of our condo, onto/out of our 20 ft by 5 ft deck. The condo has no internal kitchen vents to the outside. So, when the condo starts to smell really funky (and possibly, setting off a smoke alarm), it needs to be ""aired out"", with our front/back window screens, without a fan unit. Some food, smells fabulous, and I would not care less about it, but the vegetable based food does not. Just don't want the draps, carpets, walls, bathroom towels etc ... smelling like last morning's or the last night dinner's meal. My wife cooks great food, but some of it (especially vegetable based food) , stinks up the house. So now, have to find a 5 inch diameter connecting hose and attachment for a standard portable air conditioning unit, to the Sylvane unit, I just purchased, that I will have to connect to a fan (12 - 16 inch diameter variable fan, 3 speed, in a box, channeled down to a 5 inch connector ) that will help vent the cooking air/smell, on our gas/electric counter tops, to the outside or our condo. Yep, still working on it, but I will eventually prevail! I've made some adaptions to the delivered unit, and I will share that latter, This form asks, if I want to attach an image. I will follow up when successful. Cheers!
