This genuine Honeywell Replacement Wicking Filter A is for Honeywell humidifiers and features an updated, optimized design to maximize moisture output. The blue pre-filter layer captures large airborne particles as the air passes through. With the addition of Protec Antibacterial Treatment, this filter inhibits up to 99% of mold growth, preventing the expansion of mold, algae, fungus, and bacteria on the filter. The wicking filter also captures minerals and pollutants from water to help limit white dust. It is recommended that the filter be flipped regularly for best results. Depending on usage and water quality, filters should be replaced every 30-60 days. Change the wicking filter if it is hard, crusty, or brittle, develops an odor, or if the moisture output has decreased.
