Description
The Keystone 8,000 BTU Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioners can keep spaces up to 350 square feet comfortable for work or play. Both units feature remote controls and multiple mode operation for maximum comfort.
Select the highly efficient KSTAT08-1D cool-only unit for keeping your home or office comfortable during the hottest summer days. Or choose the KSTAT08-1HD, which includes 4,200 BTUs of supplemental heating for year-round use.
Multi-Mode Operation
These Keystone Thru-the-Wall AC units both include 3 fan speeds for cooling plus additional operating modes for more customized comfort.
- Auto: This is the best mode for saving energy. It automatically ramps up and down the fan speed to maintain the pre-set temperature. It also turns off the compressor once the desired temperature is reached.
- Cooling: Set the temperature and adjust from 3 fan speeds to keep your space comfortable.
- Sleep: Using this mode allows the unit to gradually increase the temperature setting as the air naturally cools during the night.
- Dry Mode: Avoid sweltering during high-humidity days. This mode removes up to 2.1 pints of moisture per hour from the air.
- Heating: When you select the KSTAT08-1HD model, you can enjoy warming supplemental heat up to 4200 BTUs. Heat mode operates at a single set speed.
Guaranteed Fit
If you have an existing 24.5-in. to 27-in wall sleeve, the Keystone KSTAT10-1D or 1HD is guaranteed to fit it. For easier installation, foam seals and an installation kit to retrofit your existing sleeve are included. If this is a new installation, you can purchase the Keystone Wall Sleeve (KSTSLV1) separately to ensure a perfect fit.
A standard universal interior trim kit is also provided for a clean, sleek finish for your new AC.
Additional Features
- 24-Hour Timer: Use this handy function to pre-set the number of hours before your AC turns on or off, depending on the need.
- Remote Control: The remote control has a “follow-me” function, which allows it to record the temperature at the location of the remote.
- Electronic Controls and LED Display: Soft-touch operation makes setting the temperature and selecting operating modes and fan speed easy.
- Air Flow Direction: Use the adjustable 4-way air flow direction louvers to place cooling air where you need it most.
- Mesh Air Filter: Accessible from the front of the unit, this filter traps large particulates and dust, so you have cleaner and cooler air. The check-filter light on the control panel lets you know when it’s time to clean. It is easy to wash and replace.
- Auto Restart: Had a power outage? No worries. This unit saves your settings and automatically restarts when power is restored.
- Temp Display: Display the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
- Overheat Protection: The cooling circuit has an automatic 3-minute time-delayed start if the unit is turned off and on quickly to prevent the compressor from overheating. Fan operation continues.
