Pros: It's beautiful to look at with glossy black and clean design. Chime sounds are perfect. It efficiently removes water - in my case 50 pints/day. Makes a good wi-if connection which is great for monitoring functions, turning on/off, know when bucket is full, etc. That said, app is a bit glitchy and would be better if it told me how much water is in bucket. The wheels are essential. Cons: if you don't care about the aesthetics, you're paying more for it with this product. It's as noisy or noisier than other 50 pint humidifiers - not sure but it's not quiet. The bucket doesn't pull out like other dehumidifiers I know, you have to tilt and jiggle to get it out and in. There is a removable top on the bucket that must be removed every time that is a little awkward. Would be great if it read humidity exactly vs, in 5 degree increments. I have not tried to use the pump yet. All in all I like it a lot. I tend to be a tough reviewer.

dehumidify basement. Seems like nice packaging, but then again so did frigidaire units that did not last. Humidity reading is about 5% high, but can just change setting. I would be nice if I could set the target humidity in 1% increments, but as is can only set to 5%.

This is a great dehumidifier! It works exactly as I was hoping! This product is very easy to get set up and use. I love the auto shut off feature, I can set it and forget it! It has a very decent sized tank, but it is also not too heavy when full. This one also has the option to continuously drain, which I may use if the basement gets to be intolerable in the summer. Some reviews say it is loud and when the fan is going on high it is noticably loud, but honestly it fades pretty quickly into the comfortable hum of my kids and regular commotion going on in my home, I don't even notice it. I also love the casters although I don't really move it around. I can't say at this point that I personally can find anything disappointing or irritating about it.
