Description
With an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of 9.8 and its Energy Saver Mode, the LG LT1237HNR 11,500 BTU Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner with Heating and Cooling is the ideal unit for creating efficient year round comfort in spaces up to 500 square feet. Easy to install and use, it features both a touch control panel and a remote control for simple operation. Capable of delivering up to 11,200 BTUs of cooling and heating power, you’ll create the perfect environment in every season. If you’re replacing an old unit, this model uses a universal fit sleeve, which can be found here.
This 230-volt unit uses a NEMA 6-20P plug. Make sure your outlet is the appropriate voltage.
Efficient Performance
With an EER of 9.8 and numerous energy saving features, the LG LT1237HNR is built to deliver an efficient cooling and heating experience to rooms as large as 500 square feet.
- Energy Saver Mode: Helping to prevent wasted energy, in this mode the fan stops whenever the compressor stops cooling. Every 3 minutes the fan will turn on and check the room temperature to determine if cooling is needed.
- Programmable Timer: Pre-set your air conditioner to turn on or off as needed up to 24 hours in advance.
- Temperature Control: A programmable thermostat lets you select your precise temperature between 60 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit.
Year Round Operation
In addition to its Energy Saver Mode, this through the wall air conditioner features 3 additional operating modes, making it ideal for use all year long.
- Cool Mode: Uses the compressor to cool the room with up to 11,500 BTUs of soothing relief on those hot summer days.
- Fan Only: When you want a gentle circulation of air without cooling the space, select this mode to allow the fan to run without the compressor.
- Heat Mode: Lower temperatures don’t have to mean reduced comfort. This mode provides a heating performance of 11,500 BTUs.
- Adjustable Fan Speed: No matter which operating mode you’re in, the fan speed can be selected between low and high.

I like this model, I ordered two but one was not 12,000 Btu It was a 10 thousand btu. I went ahead and installed it but I needed the 12,000 The model number of it was LT1037HNR I would like to order a couple more, but I'm afraid they will not be the 12,000 units. W#e live in west Texas and it is really hot, so the 10,000 is okay but not great in this climate.
