Available in multiple sizes, these one-inch filters come in packs of two for up to six months of the best quality HVAC air filtration. The Filtrete 2800 Ultrafine Particle Reduction Filters offer a 14 MERV rating and 2800 MPR rating and are electrostatically charged to trap even the tiniest particles at a 97% efficiency rate.
The Best Air Filtration
Most residential HVAC filters are between MERV 6 and 12. However, with a 14 MERV rating and 2800 MPR (microparticle performance rating), this ultrafine particle filter captures and removes even the tiniest of particles from your air. A MERV 14 rating means it removes 97% of dust particles and can also trap bacteria, viruses, odors, smoke, mold, and microscopic allergens.
It’s seven times better compared to non-electrostatic pleated filters for capturing particles down from .3 to 1 micron. Filtrete’s 3-in-1 technology from 3M acts as a magnet to attract particles and trap them in the filter and out of your air.
For optimum performance, you should change your filter every 90 days.
