This 3M Foil Tape 3340 is designed for sealing ducts and other surfaces for HVAC systems. This strong, long-lasting foil tape has an impressive operation temperature range of -40 to 300 degrees F. With a 2.0 mil aluminum foil backing plus strong, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, it’s ideal for sealing rigid fiberglass duct boards and flexible air duct systems.
- UL Listed: The aluminum duct tape is listed for both UL181A-P and UL181B-FX
- Thermally Conductive Backing: The strong, long-lasting foil tape is resistant to hot and cold temperatures, increasing the system's efficiency.
- Barrier: The foil backing is also an excellent barrier against moisture, dust, and chemicals. The low moisture vapor transmission rate makes it a good sealant.
- Acrylic Adhesive: This pressure-sensitive adhesive also provides superior temperature and UV resistance for a durable, long-lasting bond.
- Kraft Paper Liner: This easy-to-release poly-coated kraft paper protects the adhesive and keeps the tape clean and ready for use.
