Air-Care 10-inch Permanent Electrostatic Washable MERV 8 1-inch Air Filter is designed to last for years, without needing to be replaced. Available in an array of sizes, these filters will fit almost any HVAC system.
Cleaning is quick and easy by flushing it with water in the opposite direction of airflow arrows, then rinsing down the other side. Allow water to drain, then air dry and replace.
High Filtering Capacity
These filters have a MERV 8 rating, with an 88% arrestance capacity, capturing particles as small as one micron, which includes pollen, dust, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke. Air flowing through a maze of static prone fibers creates an electrostatic charge which more effectively captures particles.
Air-Care permanent electrostatic filters allow maximum airflow, while holding up to 126 grams (4.4 ounces) of dust before requiring cleaning.
Sturdy Silver Frame
Made from a single piece of roll-formed galvanized steel, this frame is fastened together at one corner with a single rivet. Filtering media consist of 2 layers of polypropylene between 2 layers of expanded steel for improved airflow and rigidity.
Sizing Your Filter
The standard width and length of Air-Care electrostatic filters are listed in the industry standard sizes; however, they are actually 3/8-inch smaller, undercut to accommodate standard size openings. For example, a 10 x 25-inch filter is actually 9 5/8 x 24 5/8-inches.
