Extra wide Air-Care 6-in. Permanent Electrostatic Washable MERV 8 Air Filters efficient airflow while providing 94% arrestance. These filters are 10 times more efficient that standard 6-inch disposable filter, and carry a MERV 8 rating. These efficient filters are available in four standard sizes.
Actual Dimensions: 16 x 20 x 5.75 in.; 16 x 25 x 5.75 in.; 20 x 20 x 5.75 in.; 20 x 25 x 5.75 in.
Depth is undercut by 0.25 inches. Allow 1/8 inches tolerance on all dimensions.
Eliminate Allergy & Asthma Triggers
Attracting and capturing particles smaller than one micron, these filters hold as much as 185 grams (6.5 ounces) of fine dust, pollen, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, and smoke. Air-Care 6-inch-deep permanent washable filters create an electrostatic charge as air flows through a maze of static prone fibers, capturing particles as small as a single micron.
These electrostatic air filters are an effective and efficient way to reduce the number of allergy- and asthma-triggering particles in your air.
Rigid Filter Frames
Designed with a reliable rigid frame, the metal support layers enclose two anti-microbial woven polypropylene electrostatic fiber layers, which enclose a self-charging central polyester filler.
Clean the filters every 1-3 months by flushing them with water through the filter in the opposite direction of the airflow arrows. Rinse down the other side to wash away dirt, then allow to air dry and replace.
Sizing Your Filter
While these 6-inch electrostatic filters are sized as to industry-standard measurements, the depth on each filter is actually undercut by 0.25 inches to fit the actual opening dimensions.
