I had hoped to use this as a whole house humidifier for only 1400 square feet, but it works full-time to keep this space at 50% and I still have to use a small humidifier in the bedroom. I don't have high celings or any other features that would create problems for the unit and I keep the air conditioning at a low setting. I need this level of humidity for serious medical reasons so am disappointed. Other than that it is good lookjng, reasonably quiet, and easy to fill using its top fill feaure, which I love because I cannot manager large water containers and hoses.

The float that contacts the valve that monitors tank water lever pivots at the one retainer furnished, so hard to ever get to the valve.. Ask for more retainers to maintain it's path to the valve.

Very easy set up. Living in high desert area our winters are extremely dry and cold. We definitely notice the difference In our sinuses and skin using the humidifier. it should be helpful for our hardwood floors, cabinets and furniture too.
